In the heart of Côtes de Gascogne wines and Armagnac region, discover a ideal place to stay for families and organize professional events. The hotel and restaurant Château de Mons en Armagnac is located a stone’s throw away from famous sites like the collegiate church of La Romieu or Flaran abbey.

Built in 1285 by Edward 1st of England, the castle has come down over ages and still wear today the spell of the traditional houses from Gascony. The main courtyard is flanked by 4 aisles sheltering in the ground floor the restaurant VINEA NOVA and a shop offering local products. The bedrooms are located at the first and second floor, accessible thanks to a lift. The terrace located behind the castle overlooks the 33-hectare vineyard and the parc planted with old trees.

Located in the parc, the conference center d’Artagnan offers 3 rooms with a capacity of 260 attendees. Fully equipped, modern-looking but build in accordance with the environement , it is perfectly integrated to the landscape.

Take a stroll through the vineyard on 4 different trails explaining about the wine-production at Domaine de Mons. Walk to the “Conservatory of 129 grape varieties” contributing to preserve the gene pool of the French grapes. Enter the aging cellar of the wine-estate where oak barrels share their aromas with the Armagnac : give a look at the museum showing an exceptional Armagnacais-style still made of cupper.
